Amino Reference

Terms and Conditions

Effective 6 June 2025

By accessing and using Amino Reference you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, do not use this website.

1. Age and eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old to use this site. By using it you confirm that you meet that age requirement and that you are legally permitted to access research-related information where you live.

2. Research use only

All content and references here are informational, and they concern compounds intended solely for scientific and laboratory research. Nothing on this site is intended for human or animal use, consumption, or application in any way. By continuing to use the site you agree to use the information on it for lawful research purposes only, and never to read it as promotion of any form of biological use.

3. No medical or health claims

Amino Reference does not provide or imply medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice. Nothing here is a recommendation for the treatment or prevention of any disease or condition. None of the compounds discussed are approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any comparable regulatory body, for human or animal use.

4. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for making sure that anything you read or use from this site complies with the laws and regulations of your country or region, and you accept full responsibility for actions you take based on what you find here. We accept no liability for misuse or misinterpretation of the content.

5. User reports

Verified readers can submit reports of their own experience with a compound. Reports are individual accounts from site visitors. They are not checked for accuracy, they are not medical advice, and they do not reflect the views of Amino Reference. When you submit a report you confirm that it describes your own experience and that it does not promote a vendor, include links, make medical claims, or contain anyone's personal information.

Every report is screened, partly with automated tools, and reviewed before it is published. We may decline to publish, or remove, any report at any time. By submitting a report you grant Amino Reference a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish it on the site and to use it in anonymous aggregate figures such as average ratings and common side effects. You can ask for your report to be removed using the contact page.

6. Intellectual property

The materials, logos, content, and design of Amino Reference belong to the site owner and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without prior written permission.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time without notice, and changes take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. Reviewing them from time to time is your responsibility, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated version.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms go to the address on the contact page. See also the research-use disclaimer and the privacy policy.
