LIPO-B

Also known as Lipo B

A ready-mixed lipotropic injection given into muscle, 2 to 5 days a week on an eight-week cycle. Only the schedule and the storage rule are established — there is no ingredient list, and no documented side effects or contraindications.

What it is

LIPO-B is one of the lipotropic injections on this site. Lipotropic means fat-moving: the word covers a family of ready-mixed solutions of vitamins, amino acids, and related nutrients that are injected to support fat metabolism rather than to act as a drug on a receptor.

It arrives as a liquid that is already mixed. You do not add bacteriostatic water to it and you do not reconstitute anything — you draw a dose straight out of the vial and inject it into a muscle, which is called an intramuscular injection.

What is not known. Only the dosing schedule and the storage rule are documented for LIPO-B. What is in the vial, how big the vial is, what the concentration is, what the side effects are, and who should not use it are all undisclosed. Anything on this page beyond the dosing schedule and the storage warning is general to lipotropics, not specific to LIPO-B. If you want a lipotropic with fully documented contents, see Lipo-C on this site.

A pre-mixed lipotropic solution for intramuscular administration. "Lipotropic" here denotes the class of multi-ingredient nutrient injections — typically methionine, inositol, choline, carnitine, and B vitamins in varying combinations — used as metabolic adjuncts rather than as receptor-active agents.

Supplied ready to use; no reconstitution step.

Documentation. Only a dosing schedule and a storage prohibition are documented for LIPO-B. No ingredient declaration, no vial volume, no concentration, no adverse-effect list, no contraindications, no interactions, no stacking guidance. The unit-to-microgram relationship in the dosing lines (50 units = 500 mcg) is the only quantitative information about the product's strength, and it is the basis for the concentration used in the table below. Statements beyond that schedule are general to the lipotropic class and are marked as such.

What it does

No mechanism, benefits, or claims of any kind have been documented for what LIPO-B does in the body.

General to the class rather than to this product: lipotropic injections are given with the aim of supporting the liver's handling of fat and supporting fat metabolism generally. Whether the specific combination in a LIPO-B vial does that, and to what degree, has not been established.

If you want the mechanism written out ingredient by ingredient, the Lipo-C page on this site does that for its own formula.

No pharmacological claims have been documented for LIPO-B — no mechanism, no benefit list, no indication.

General to the class: the lipotropic class is used as hepatic and metabolic support, with the individual constituents acting on distinct steps — methionine on transmethylation and glutathione supply, choline on hepatic very-low-density lipoprotein export, carnitine on mitochondrial long-chain fatty-acid transport, B vitamins on cofactor supply for energy metabolism. None of that is attributable to LIPO-B specifically, because what is in the vial is not declared.

The Lipo-C page is the one in this line that documents its own constituents and their proposed roles.

Benefits

Evidence grades: what the labels mean
  • Human trials Supported by randomised or placebo-controlled human trials.
  • Limited human data Some human evidence, such as pilot studies, case reports or observational data, but no controlled trials.
  • Animal or lab only Shown in animal or cell studies only; not yet tested in people.
  • Anecdotal No published studies; based on user reports or theory.

Each grade reflects the strongest published support for that specific claim, not for the compound as a whole.

  • No benefits have been documented for LIPO-B. Only its dosing schedule and storage warning are established.Anecdotal
  • Note: the lipotropic products in this line are used for fat loss and for energy. The Lipo-C page lists those benefits for its own formula, but LIPO-B's contents are not declared, so nothing on the Lipo-C page can be assumed to apply here.Anecdotal
  • No benefits have been documented.Anecdotal
  • Note: the sibling lipotropic pages on this site (Lipo-C, LIPO C+, Lipo Shredder) list their own benefit sets. Because LIPO-B's composition is undeclared, none of those sets transfers to this product by argument.Anecdotal

Reconstitution and dosing

Storage first, because it matters most: do not refrigerate this product, before or after use. The other pages in this lipotropic line explain why — the ingredients are concentrated and will gel or crystallise if they get cold.

The vial comes ready-mixed. There is nothing to reconstitute.

Inject into a muscle. Dose in the morning, so it does not disturb your sleep. You do not have to be fasted.

A cycle is 8 weeks or longer, followed by a break of at least half the length of the cycle you did. So an 8-week cycle needs a 4-week break at minimum.

The standard dose is 50 to 100 units once a day, 2 to 3 days a week. The advanced dose is 100 units once a day, 3 to 5 days a week.

One number, and what it is worth. The only information about the strength of the product is in the dose lines: "50-100 units (500-1,000mcg)". Divide one by the other and you get 10 micrograms in every syringe unit — a milligram in every millilitre. That is the whole of it. There is no vial size, no vial mass, and no ingredient list to attach either to. The table below is built on a stand-in vial of 10 mg in 10 mL, picked for one reason only: at that strength the draw column comes out at exactly the unit numbers in the dosing schedule. Treat the milligram figures as scaffolding for the arithmetic and nothing more. The units are the instruction.

Storage: do not refrigerate before or after use. The sibling entries in this line attribute this to crystallisation of concentrated constituents, L-carnitine in particular.

Pre-mixed solution; no reconstitution.

Intramuscular administration. Morning dosing to avoid sleep disturbance. Fasting not required.

Cycle: minimum 8 weeks, washout at least half the completed cycle length (8 weeks on → 4 weeks minimum off).

Standard protocol: 50–100 units 1×/day, 2–3 days per week. Advanced protocol: 100 units 1×/day, 3–5 days per week.

Concentration basis. The single quantitative claim about the product is the ratio embedded in the dose lines — 50–100 units against 500–1,000 mcg, i.e. 10 mcg per insulin unit, 1 mg/mL. Nothing else bears on strength: no vial volume, no vial mass, no ingredient declaration. The protocols therefore carry a placeholder of 10 mg in 10 mL, which encodes that ratio and nothing else, and every computed draw lands on the scheduled unit figure exactly.

Whether the ratio itself is real is a separate question that the available information cannot answer. A milligram per millilitre is a trivial solute load for an injection sold as a fat-metabolism adjunct, and the same pairing recurs across three sibling lipotropics here, which looks more like a convention than four separate measurements. With no ingredient list to sanity-check it against, there is less basis here than for any of its siblings for deciding either way. Work from the units.

Standard protocol

Supplied as a ready-mixed solution — nothing to reconstitute. No vial size or mass is specified; the 10 mg in 10 mL shown here is a placeholder that reproduces the figure of 10 mcg per insulin unit, so the draw column matches the dosing schedule exactly. Do not refrigerate before or after use.

Who should avoid it

  • No contraindications or interactions have been documented. That is an absence of information, not a statement that the product is safe for everyone.
  • Note: because the ingredients are not declared, you cannot check the vial against your own allergies. The Lipo-C page's single contraindication is precisely that — do not use it if you are allergic to any of the components. You cannot apply that check here without knowing what the components are.
  • Note: every other lipotropic page in this line excludes pregnancy and breastfeeding, or excludes people with liver disease, or both. The absence of those warnings here reflects how little is documented about LIPO-B, not a judgement that they do not apply.
  • Note: if the vial contains a stimulant — as the LIPO C+ and Lipo Shredder vials do — the cautions on those pages about heart conditions, high blood pressure, anxiety, and thyroid problems would matter here too. There is no way to know whether it does.
  • No contraindications, cautions, or interactions have been documented.
  • Note: with an undeclared formulation, the hypersensitivity screen that Lipo-C specifies as its only contraindication cannot be performed.
  • Note: pregnancy and lactation exclusions appear on LIPO C+ but not here; hepatic-load caution appears on LIPO C+ but not here. Treat both as unaddressed rather than as excluded.
  • Note: two products in this line (LIPO C+, Lipo Shredder) contain sympathomimetic constituents (Eria jarensis, albuterol) and carry a substantial interaction and cardiovascular-caution profile as a result. Whether LIPO-B contains anything of that kind is not determinable from the available information.

Side effects

  • No side effects have been documented. Again, that is silence rather than reassurance.
  • Note: anything injected into muscle can produce a reaction at the injection site — redness, swelling, itching, soreness. That is generic to the route, not specific to LIPO-B.
  • Note: the instruction to dose in the morning to avoid sleep disruption implies the formula can interfere with sleep. No other effects are documented.
  • No adverse effects have been documented.
  • Note: injection site reactions are route-generic for intramuscular administration and should be expected irrespective of formulation.
  • Note: the morning-dosing instruction to avoid sleep disruption is the only implicit acknowledgement of any systemic effect, and it points at a stimulant or B-vitamin-driven activation profile.

Stacking

  • Not a stack — a comparison. LIPO-B has no declared ingredient list. Lipo-C is the same dosing schedule with a documented formula, side effect list, and contraindication behind it.

Not a co-administration suggestion. Lipo-C runs an identical schedule with a declared formulation and an adverse-effect profile, and is the better-documented reference point for anyone trying to work out what a LIPO-B vial is.

Dosing figures have been reviewed and units are recomputed from the stated protocol.
